The Hit Dogs Baseball Academy has been the leader of youth baseball in the Midwest and Nationally for over the last 16 years.

We are excited to announce the Midwest Gators, a softball program that is going to be driven on development, recruitment and results.

Coming to this organization and its amazing coaching staff when I was 13 changed my life. I was blessed to have Coach Tom Dishman as my coach from 14U through 17U when I was offered a full ride to Wabash Valley in southern Illinois. I could not be more thankful for what Coach Dishman and his facility has provided me over the past 6 years. Play at the Cage is truly a state-of-the-art facility with things inside of it that you just can’t even imagine. The Hit Dogs organization strives to get guys to the next level while at the same time making them better people. I could not have gotten to where I am without the help of Coach Dishman and the use of this facility. If you’re looking for an organization that truly treats you like family – this is where you want to play!
When my wife and I were looking for a competitive program for our son and we were lucky enough to cross paths with Coach Dishman. He is truly a person who tells you the truth about where your child is at and can offer anyone a chance to improve. Our son was lucky enough to play on Coach Dishman’s elite team and he learned how to be a better student, a better ball player, and a better person. The Hit Dog Organization has a tremendous staff of professional instructors that can help players grow year after year. The Play at the Cage facility is truly the best baseball facilities in the Mid-West! You can always find a cage to get your work in. Along with two Hit Trax, too many cages (and machines) to count, an arm care room, a full speed and strength training room, and a pro shop - it also offers an indoor full-size infield to work on situational drills. Joining the Hit Dogs was the best investment we ever made for our son. After 6 years with Coach Dishman and the Motor City Hit Dogs our son was offered a full ride to Wabash Valley College to continue his baseball journey. Thank you Coach Dishman for all that you have done. We will continue to keep the faith and trust the process as we watch our son chase his dreams. Always a Hit Dog!!
